The mission of the Forteniters Club is to assist persons affected by mental illness in their adjustment to independent living in the community and provide for friendship and mutual support through weekly dinners and activities throughout the year.  They meet for dinners and socials every Thursday at the Carver Center in Saint Patrick Church in Norristown.

The CYO sponsors a dinner each year in September at the Carver Center.  The students from 8^th grade are invited to volunteer for this event.  They will socialize with the guests and prepare and serve dinner.  Parents are asked to volunteer to drive the students to the event.
