The final CYO dance of the year will be held This Friday, May 9th from 7:30 – 10:00 pm in Queen of Angels Gym. This dance is the last for our 8th Graders and the first for our 6th graders. Cost is $5.00 per person and is collected at the door. Modest dress is enforced. Student school ID is required or a child must be signed in by their parent. All parishes and schools are welcome. Please join us on Saturday, May 31st at St David’s 5:00 pm mass to celebrate the final CYO Mass of the year. This is a great mass to attend especially since the CYO Banquet is on Sunday morning. Spring sport athletes are encouraged to come in uniform or in St David CYO logo wear and sit with their team and coaches in the pews reserved for them in the front of church.
*There will be no social in FCH to follow this mass due to the banquet the next morning.

All St. David’s parents are currently St. David CYO Board members and we would like to hear from you. We will be discussing key agenda topics like Service, Sports, Upcoming events, and Fundraising. We are looking to fulfill certain positions within the board.
We need your help, so if you would like to get involved, here is your opportunity. Elections will occur in May 2014 for the 2014-2015 school year. Don’t miss out – we would like to have your input! St David CYO spent a fantastic day helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society, Coaches vs Cancer School Inititive. This year surpassed last year’s donation by almost $500. Thank you for all who came out to play and volunteer. The day was spent with a foul shooting contest, 3vs3 tournament and Coaches vs Alumni Game. We look forward to next year!
Thanks to all who helped the CYO clean up Veteran’s Memorial Park (formally War Memorial Park) in Willow Grove on Sunday, April 27th. Close to 35 people helped keep our community beautiful for Earth Day!
Special Olympics of Montgomery County – St David CYO will once again be helping out at the Track and Field events for Special Olympics on Saturday, May 17th from 8 am-12:30 pm. Age restrictions are in place this year…….Ages 12+ can volunteer as an individual, ages 9-11 must be one on one with a chaperone, no one under 9 may volunteer but are encouraged to cheer from the stands with parental supervision. Manna on Main is a soup kitchen/food pantry located in Lansdale. If you are 13 or older and are interested in helping out in the kitchen or helping clients to shop in the food pantry, please contact Jenn Falsone 215-582-9072 or email@example.com and we will set you up with an upcoming mandatory orientation (only 1/2 hour). Parents are encouraged to sign up as well. If parents sign up to they are welcome to sign up on their own and according to their schedule to help out on a more regular basis with Manna. Only one Saturday orientation is held per month and it is first come, first served.
Middle School Youth Group
Boys and Girls in grades 5-7 are invited to a friendly and fun environment to share their faith and make some new friends. The Middle School Youth Group meets once per month at St David Parish – Father Curran Hall. Our next meeting is Friday, th from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. All are welcome, please bring a friend.
