Days like this put the “C back in CYO” (thanks Mike McHugh for that little quote) 65 volunteers coming from St David CYO which included friends from QOA Regional School, Regina Coeli Academy, St David Parish, OLHC Parish, and St John Bosco Parish.

The Saint David CYO Senior Boys race in the 4X100 at the Penn Relays on Tuesday April 23, 2013 and finish with a time of 50.12 seconds. That was 7th place out of over 90 teams. They qualified for the Philadelphia Archdiocese Senior Boys Finals on Friday April 27, 2013. They raced in the finals and again placed 7th.

St David CYO will be helping out this year’s Montgomery County Special Olympics for their Annual Special Athlete Invitational Track and Field Meet. Saturday, May 18th from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. We will need commitments ahead of time. Please consider donating a Saturday morning to a great cause that will bring you and the athletes joy all year long. Coaches Vs Cancer
We would like to thank all families that participated in the Coaches vs Cancer Foul Shooting Contest and HS Players vs Coaches game (The coaches won by 4 points). Special thanks to Jenn and Tony Falsone for organizing the event.
Sports Camps/Clinics
We continually post info on the St David CYO website about camps for various sports including Volleyball, Soccer and Basketball. You can enter the website, highlight Parents/Player and use the drop down menu to select Sports Clinics/Camps. There is also information about camps that were offered last year. You can contact the organizer of last years camps if you would like to attend this year.
CYO Banquet
The end of the year banquet will be June 2nd at the VE Club at 9:00 a.m. We will honor all our JV and Varsity Teams and the Track and Cross Country Teams. This is a highly attended event. Please purchase your tickets early for we only have 225 tickets available. We honor our 8th graders and reserve a table for them in the front so they are never left out.

All families should create an account this week so that they begin recieving the emails from the league. All families should enter information for each family member who intends on playing CYO sports this year.
Families will have two options for payment. E-Check and Credit Cards. E-Check saves the CYO program money rather than using the credit card.
